During my time as a florist I have seen many changes in trends, fashions, tastes of flowers and styles of bouquets.
I am adaptable to your requests as each bride is unique, no two weddings are the same. I taylor my prices to match your budget while still offering the upmost quality and flare, after all this is your important special day.
At your first consultation I will discuss every aspect of your big day and get an idea of how you picture the flowers on your special day. I will help guide and advise you using my extensive portfolio, and will discuss colour, style and setting in depth to make sure my flowers compliment your wedding in every detail.
Using the information gained from our consultation, I will produce designs individual to yourself to reflect your personality and the style of your wedding.
I specialise in providing stunning flowers from wedding bouquets through to buttonholes and corsages. No matter what your style, Boho, Woodland, Festival, Traditional or Glamorous, I will do all I can to make your visions a reality.
Shop In-store
We opened the doors to Lavender Garden Flowers & Creative Gifts - bricks and mortar shop - on Monday 6th April 2026, following a pop-up shop for Mothers' Day and a hectic 3 weeks refurbishment.
Since then, we have welcomed many familiar faces, made new friends, and embraced being a part of the wonderful Matlock community. Full time, we have our fabulous, purple-haired florist Gillian (tea, milky, 2 sugars), and resident homewares designer Liz (coffee, milky, 1 sugar). We are also very proud to stock handmade gifts by local Guest Makers, such as Turnpike Studio, Designate, and Momentary Capture. Stock is ever-changing
The kettle is always on, there is always a smiling face, and new goodies in stock, so do come and say hello!

Garden plants
From hanging baskets to bright perennials, strawberry plants to trailing ivy, you can find all your seasonal plants here. We can even deliver compost and bark chippings locally - enquire within.
Fickle Studio
Liz creates all of her homewares in-house, using Jesmonite eco-resin, wire, plaster, and papier mache. Recently she has enjoying making coffee tables, candles, and sculptural vases. Follow her on social media using @fickle_studio
House plants
We stock a small selection of on-trend succulents and cacti, and also a variety of quirky plant pots to pop them in!
Turnpike Studio
Our good friend Tracy winds down by needle-felting these gorgeous woolly creatures, and they have been just flying out of the shop!

Whether you prefer a muted country garden feel, or a more vibrant palette, we have the blooms for you! Choose your favourites or ask for advice, and we will wrap your flowers ready for gifting (or keeping!)
